Cesium KlenTaq Performance Comparison

Amplification of two difficult, highly CG-rich targets of mouse rRNA genes (1 and 2), with Cesium KlenTaq, and two competitive hot start taqs, with or without manual hot start (addition of Mg at high temperature).

Results: Cesium KlenTaq outperforms the two competitors in the cases of no manual hot start.

Cesium KlenTaq C & Cesium KlenTaq AC Performance

 

Results: With both targets, Cesium KlenTaq-C (CsKT-C) and Cesium KlenTaq-AC (CsKT-AC) outperform KT1 under normal PCR conditions. In order to work, KT1 required manual hot-start (hs)(addition of Mg at high temperature).
